It’s a small world after all. This trike driver has come to remember me. Hundreds if not thousands of customers every year but he remembers me. Kindness never hurts and it always pays to show respect and kindness to every person you meet. The third time he has driven me home. Nice to not need to explain how to get me there. Tips probably don’t hurt the memory either. But treating every person with respect when in a foreign country it goes a long way toward positive experiences. Every person is trying to make a living for themselves and their family. It is nice when a person remembers you in a positive way. It also improves safety, and community support when people are happy to see you.
